HNCDI is mainly engaged in the survey and design of bridges of various types, including extra-large, large, and medium-sized bridges, newly constructed highways, and municipal landscapes. It boasts classic works in the fields of suspension bridges, cable-stayed bridges, arch bridges, and girder bridges. Additionally, HNCDI has been involved in bridge renovation, expansion design, maintenance, reinforcement design, and design consultation. It has completed the survey, design, maintenance, reinforcement, and renovation projects of over 1,600 bridges, including more than 300 independent bridges with a total length of over 200,000 meters. HNCDI has successively won over 70 national, provincial, and ministerial-level survey and design awards (including 16 national awards), such as the Second Prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Gold Award of National Excellent Engineering Design, and the Zhan Tianyou Civil Engineering Award. It also holds over 100 patents.
