Digitalization Engineering Services

Intelligent Transportation
HNCDI is primarily engaged in comprehensive engineering consulting and design services, including traffic safety facilities, traffic safety evaluation, traffic organization, electromechanical engineering, information engineering, intelligent transportation, smart city, and computer software engineering, as well as product research and development. It possesses the capability of general contracting for design and construction, and has five research centers: Traffic Safety Design Center, Information Engineering Design Center, Digital and Intelligent Transportation Design Center, Innovation and Big Data Center, and Traffic Policy and Strategy Center. HNCDI has completed the design of over 5,000 km of expressways, participated in and led more than 20 scientific research projects sponsored by the State Council, the Ministry of Transport, and other transportation departments. It has successively won more than 40 national, provincial, and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress awards, design awards, and consulting awards, and holds more than 10 patents for inventions and utility models.
BIM Technology
In 2016, the Ministry of Transport began vigorously promoting BIM technology. In the same year, HNCDI established a BIM Technology Research and Application Center, dedicated to new technology research and the digital transformation and development of the industry. Currently, the BIM Technology Research and Application Center serves as the director unit of the BIM Technology Professional Committee of the Hunan Provincial Urban and Rural Construction Industry Association, a member of the Hunan Provincial Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technology Application Innovation Strategic Alliance, and a member of the China Highway Society's Transportation BIM Collaborative Innovation Community. The HNCDI BIM team (over 200 personnel) is composed of resident personnel from the BIM Center and various professional BIM teams. The resident personnel from the BIM Center include application and research and development personnel, responsible for the overall management of projects, while the professional BIM teams are responsible for the application work in their respective fields. The core members of the team cover specialties such as highway, municipal administration, bridges, water transportation, architecture, rail, tunnels, as well as geotechnical engineering and surveying and mapping, with rich implementation experience in the transportation field. Over 40 BIM application projects have been completed, covering all specialties mentioned above.
Water Transport Informatization
The water transportation informatization encompasses smart ports, integrated channel construction, automatic control systems for bulk material transportation, active collision warning systems for bridges, smart ship management systems, and smart video management systems.
Water Affairs Informationization
Water affairs informatization includes the smart sewage treatment management cloud platform and the smart water supply management cloud platform.
