HNCDI is mainly engaged in the design, consultation, and scientific research of mountain tunnels, urban tunnels, underground projects, large-diameter underwater shield tunnels, tunnel disease treatment, and tunnel expansion and renovation. HNCDI has possessed extensive technical experience in ultra-large diameter shield tunnels, ultra-large span double-arch tunnels, and complex underground transportation hubs. Also, it has successfully completed nearly 1,300 km of highway/urban tunnel designs, including over 40 extra-long tunnels. HNCDI has been awarded 15 national and provincial science and technology progress and excellent design prizes, and have obtained over 40 patents for inventions and utility models.
